12 years ago I started having heel pain. X-rays and MRI showed nothing. Two different podiatrists could not help me. My heel has hurt ever since to stand or walk long periods. Last week I had a flare up again and seen a new dr. He said it could be a fracture or tear that has never healed and put me in a boot and crutches for 4 weeks. This seems unbelievable that after 12 years it hasn't healed. Could he be right?
