About 4 days ago I had my middle toenail pulled by my PCP. The pain has been constant with the swelling, but only a little bleeding. There is still a good size cartilage like piece hinged where the nail comes out of the toe. Exactly where the cuticle would be. It looks like the cuticle, only bigger. Does that fall off at one point? Also, what is it? And are there any good methods to alleviate the pain (other than otc meds)? I tried uploading a pic but it's too large. Ill try again later w another camera. Thx!!
