Comparing Two (or more) Mirth Environments

I'm sure this is not a unique situation to software developers/engineers out there. Someone needs to run a test in a QA environment, but it is uncertain whether that environment truly reflects Production. It would be ideal to have a way to compare the QA environment to Production, ensuring the channels match. Given what I have seen with Mirth, the only thing I can see as a possibility is exporting the channels from the two environments and doing a file compare on the XML, logging the differences. I am hoping someone else has found a better way to do this to keep environments in sync where needed.



What is the appropriate method to do this kind of validation effort in Mirth Connect?
