Our beagle Jake is a wonderful
Dog. he is friendly, a great hunter and a wonderful companion.
I just need opinions on his possessiveness. I had had beagles my whole life but I've never had a dog like this so I am unsure. When Jake is given toys or food, he gets very possessive over this, to the point where he will growl at anything that goes around it. This has recently started when other dogs or people go near his bed as well. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to address it?
