How do multiple AND OR in filters work

I'm trying to figure out how Mirth is using the AND OR in the standard filters.

With one AND/OR I understand how it works. But with more...?



Anyone has an explanation how multiple AND/OR's work in filters?



Is there any way to incude '(' or ')' ?
