Timeout waiting for ACK

I have several connectors that I receive the error message of



ERROR-408: MLLP Connector error

ERROR MESSAGE: Timeout waiting for ACK



I have increased both the ACK Timeout wait time & the Reconnect Interval times to double the default. (Most of the other connectors work fine with the Mirth default). So my questions are:



What would be considered a "normal" wait time for an ACK?

How high up can I set the ACK Timeout before it starts creating problems?

Do I need to increase the Reconnect Interval to a value higher than the ACK Timeout or are they connected?
