Delete DBs or Tables to clear space

I have a huge mirth database and though I tried pruning the data, it is still huge. I had a lot of stuff in there from when I was developing the channels and I think I deleted a couple of channels. Is that stuff still in there? What can I safely delete to reduce the size of the databases? The mirth DBs are almost as big as the main db they are pulling from and that doesn't seem right.
