I am in the process of learning Mirth and would like to know if there is a way to connect to a "dummy" channel so I can begin seeing how messages come through, etc. My main task will be to filter messages and place those desired messages in a SQL Database.
But my real challenge is that while I am learning, I'm not working at a Hospital or Clinic so I don't know how to see Realish-type messages.
Is there a way to connect to a source of "dummy" messages? Does Mirth Corporation or anyone else host a sample message server of sorts?
