Just curious of anyone has had gout swelling and pain last 7 weeks or longer continuously? After 3 doctors and now an apt with a rheumatologist upcoming I'm starting to doubt this is really gout... It started as a typical gout attack in the fact that nothing was wrong until you awake one morning and there it is. This time however it seems to be moving from joint to joint in the same foot and is swollen with pain the entire time unless I'm on a steroid. The steroid seems to be the only thing to reduce the swelling. Have had Xray, Bone Scan, MRI, blood test for Rheumatoid Arthritis & all came back negative.
Anyone have gout continuously for 7 weeks or longer?
