I'm using Mirth Connect 2.21.5861 in a production environment with the Derby DB. There are a lot of channels and configurations I would prefer not to rebuild.
I have a new VM running 3.1.1.7461 and it connects to a SQL 2012R2 server (not express). It is a vanilla install and as far as I can tell it appears to be connecting just fine. I have gone in the DB and see new tables that were created once I connected to the DB which is why I am making that assumption.
Can I export the backup from 2.2 and import it to my 3.1? If not, are there any suggestions? If so, is there a good tutorial on how to do it with little fanfare. I will be migrating the channels and configs, I do not care about the data as I delete it every 30 days. Also, I will not be going live with the new build for about another 2 weeks. Hence, all I need are the channels and configs.
Thanks,
Pete
