Toenail "breaks" and then restarts growing (picture inside)

Hi!

I have a problem with a toenail. It started almost in july 2013. It keeps breaking and like leaving spaces and then it continues to grow, and also there is a black hard thing slowly growing in the outer corner. It has already been infected 3 times, all of them it was treated with Cefadroxil and the infection has gone away, the last time it happened was 6 months ago.



I have already been to two traumatologists and one dermatologist. The dermatologist put me in a treatment where I would take 1 pill of Lamisil every day for two months and last week was my last pill. Currently there is no pain, I only feel pain when it´s about to get infected again.



Today I noticed that once again the nail decided to stop growing again, I attached a picture of the toe where all the breaks can be seen.



On the outer corner there is a black thing, it is hard and it is attached to something because I could not remove it.



I am from Venezuela and I swear that I can´t remember hurting my toe in any way before this happened.



Does anyone know something about this?
