I'm a Mirth newbie so I apologize if this is a ridiculously stupid question but...
I'm trying to use an existing Mirth implementation as a web server to access an SQL database - i.e. take some query parameters from a URL and pull data from the database, returning an XML or CSV file.
But I'm not sure how (or if) the channels can be setup to do this. I can create a HTTP Listener easily enough and pull parameters from a URL. I can map that source to a database writer destination, but I can't map it to a database *reader* destination. The database writer documentation indicates its only good for insert/update type statements, not select statements.
This seems like such a simple example but I haven't been able to find any documentation on the forums/wiki. What would the channel configuration look like to just use Mirth as a simple web server atop an SQL database.
Many thanks.
