File Writer - Create Temp File -- truncated PDF

mercredi 10 décembre 2014

What is the naming convention when you enable "Create Temp File" on a file writer??

Mirth 3.0.1.7051

Java 1.7.0_51

Server 2008 R2 x64

Source:

Channel Reader

Destination1:

QA folder via SFTP

Destination2:

File writer SFTP

Queue: Always, regenerate template and rotate are disabled.

timeout: 10000

file exists: overwrite

create temp: true

file type: ASCII

encoding: default

template ${message.rawData}

We are getting reports where BASE64 encoded PDF's are frequently being truncated.

Before we send the files via SFTP, we write them to a QA folder and can decode every file without error so we know the files are being property generated.

On every file they reported as truncated, Mirth reported as uploaded successfully. We toggled the Create Temp File to true and have received a couple Mirth errors stating the file rename operation could not be completed so we are assuming they are processing the files before we have finished uploading them.

We have asked the recipient to ignore files under 10 minutes old and/or ignore the temporary files so Mirth can upload/rename them. They asked us what the temporary filename scheme and/or extension is.
