Foot Pain on Outer Side of Foot

Hello,



I am trying to decide if I need to get a foot brace. The last couple of days my foot is hurting on the outer side of my foot. It feels like a bruise, but there is no bruise there. I wore some very uncomfortable boots shopping one day and I think this may be the problem.



Any suggestions?
