Help with the Jeep

So I'm thinking of doing a project build on my 67 Jeepster. It's all original with a very clean body. My idea is part of a promotion I do for Factory UTV where we sponsor about 50 racers and call them the futv army. The Jeepster will be painted old military willys green and have FUTV ARMY on it. I want to seriously trick out the Jeep with an LS motor, Dana 60s and real off road suspension. My brother will be doing the motor running gear build and I'm looking for suggestions on suspension. I'd like to be able to handle moderate whoops and I want it to be really nice in the street as well. I'm willing to spend but maybe not Ultra 4 money. We'll obviously be strengthening the frame and doing cage work. Thinking about 500hp so we can smoke some RZRs up comp hill :buford:



Rick, JJ, Mark, Duanne, Phildo and anybody else I'm forgetting, any ideas? Build from scratch? Buy something and take parts off it?
