So, when I was 6 months old, I was put into an orphanage. I was never adopted, not sure why as I was a decent looking kid and was well mannered, bad luck I guess. So anyway I left when I was 18 and made my own life for myself, getting a nice apartment and a well paying job. So here I am 5 years later, still doing my own thing, when I get a call. Turns out my birth parents had another kid 9 years after me, a girl, who they kept. The person on the other end told me that both her parents were struck dead in a car crash, caused my a drunk driver. They told me about what happened and that she didn't have anyone else to go to, and since I'm her only living relative who is above 18 they wanted to know if I would take her in. I'm not sure what to do, I have enough money in savings plus what I'm currently earning which is more than enough to support us both, as well as an extra room in my apartment, but I'm barely an adult and know jack about raising a child. I've met her a few times over the past 2 weeks and she's the sweetest girl I've ever met, and even though I barely know her she's my kid sister and I can't just have her shipped off to some orphanage where she won't be adopted because of her age then be forced to go through what I went through. Also what would she do if she knew she had a brother who could have taken her in, but just decided not too? I know this is a really ty way to figure things out, but what would you guys recommend?

Can't figure out why my Cedar Elm tree is dying...
I have been watering this tree about three times a week ever since it has gotten very hot here in Texas (90+ days for about month now).
I noticed a lot of leaves are yellowing... and my lawn is filled with fallen yellow elm leaves.
I noticed there is clear sticky sap coming out of the bark in some spots.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated to help save my tree.

I lost my instructions for my Stanley timer 31221. It has a simple single button to toggle through F, 1-9, 1.-9. etc. I just do not remember the exact detail for the numbers. I think if you select 2 then it comes on at dusk and stays on for two hours? I think the 2. means it stays on longer the first day and sticks to the two hour schedule thereafter? Please clarify if you can.

I have a job offer in Munich and I am trying to determine my tax liability as a US citizen working in Germany. Assume that income is $150K. Now I know I can exclude, $100K (or something around that as it is foreign income). But for the rest I need to pay taxes and my tax bracket will be as if I made $150K not $50K. So far, I think my understanding it right.
Now, for the taxes on the remaining $50K, I will be paying taxes in Germany. To avoid paying taxes twice, I think I can also use Foreign tax credit in addition to the exclusion.
My question is, if German tax rate is at least as high as US, due to foreign tax credit my liability should come out to 0. right? I totally understand I have to file taxes no matter where I am but I am trying to understand how bad I could be hit by IRS due to these taxes. Am I missing anything? Really appreciate it.

I had sex with my best friend to came down from the navy on 02-20-2015, me and my boyfriend got into an argument so at the time we weren't together. He went in without a condom for like 15 seconds not even close to a minute, then he put on a condom. So on March 13th or 15th me and my ex when back together, so from that day on we had unprotected sex multiple times. When I had my ultrasound the day after they said that the due date was still the same and this was at planned parenthood. Is this against the law? I can provide documentation as public record but would choose to know the generalized answer and possible direction to pursue this further.

I'm currently doing some research into how firefly hybrid generators can save fuel emissions. I'm currently trying to calculate how exactly they charge using some simple calculations. The technical data sheet ((http://ift.tt/1KDQxb7) pages 10,11 ) says it has a charge time of 7.5 hours, however it states this for units of various sizes with varying accompanying generator sizes, therefore I don't understand how this can be true.
In essence I'm building a rough idea of an expected load throughout the day a generator would be put under, and I'm trying to calculate when required how the firefly would charge when the generator is charging the firefly and also supporting the load upon it.
Does anybody know how to do this?

My bladder type well tank keeps filling with too much air. 50-60lbs. causing short cycling. I have a 30/50 pressure switch. When I bleed out the air to 28 lbs. Everything works fine. Question- if we bill a customer in one month and then void and rebill that same sales order after the month has been closed out (month in which the bill was initially generated), how does this affect our accounting system?
For example, say we bill ABC Co. in June, then close June out. In July we learn that something on that sales order is incorrect so we void the invoice and rebill in month of July. That invoice would have been put to June sales figure when closing out the month of June, but then we void and rebill in July.
Please help explain. Thanks.

Hello,
I have had a job offer withdrawn, I have received the reason and it is due to my reference being handwritten and not detailed enough.
I have a copy of the reference and while it has been handwritten there is nothing negative in the reference and they have answered all questions on the form.
I would have expected that they give me a chance to provide another reference or get a more detailed reference but instead without prior warning they have withdrawn the offer which leaves me without a job and having already handed my notice period in.
Does anyone have any advice?

I am a Mother of 2 - although my firstborn Son, died last year in October at 14 months old and then in December I gave birth to my Daughter, who is now 7 months old. Puddle in middle of basement floor?
I noticed a large puddle in the middle of my basement floor last night. I looked up and the ceiling tile had a wet ring around it.
My first thought was that someone upstairs overflowed the sink in the kitchen above. I pulled the tile and had a look. The sink was about 8 feet away from the leak. Hmmm. Then I touched and messed with the insulation (which was dry) and inspected the wood sub-floor. It was dry too.
Second thought. The sink drain runs right through there. It must be leaking. However, No visible indicators that the sink line is leaking either. Clean as a whistle.
Third, It couldn't be the copper lines under pressure because I've never heard of a leak starting and then stopping. They were not leaking when I looked at them. However, one copper pipe was very green with patina over a 24" section just above the leak circle. Also, the bottom of that section of pipe had a slightly wet sludge to it. Also, over the years, when I'm in the basement watching TV, occasionally, I hear a rapid pipe ticking coming from that area. I always assumed the pipes were adjusting to heating and cooling.
On a side note, I have been shutting of the water in the house frequently to diagnose a water leak in the main service line in the yard.
Question: Could shutting off the water, relieving pressure, then turning it back on cause a temporary leak in a corroding copper pipe? I am imagining a hole that closes when the pipe is under house pressure and opens when the pressure is turned off. Seems opposite of what would actually happen, but just asking the question.

Single-entry accounting software records credits as negative. Is that always correct?
I've been asked to maintain a small program that tracks fees charged for attending a conference versus payments for those fees. A table called Ledger has an entry for each fee and an entry for each payment. The "fee" goes in the table as a positive number; the payment goes in the same field but as a negative number. A simple sum of that field accurately provides the registrant's account balance. Likewise, a sum of the "Payments" (which are negative numbers) gives an accurate representation of the amount paid, while a sum of the "fees" (which are positive numbers) accurately shows the amount due/assessed.
The problem arises when someone overpays. The software has a facility for entering "credits," but they go into this ledger table as negative numbers, which distorts the registrant's account.
For example, a registrant is assessed fees of $49, $89 and $75 (=$213), and has a payment of $275. If the software puts in a CREDIT of $62, it goes into the ledger as a negative number, so that a sum of the fees is $213, but a sum of the payments/credits is $337. If the "credit" had gone in as a positive number, it would have correctly shown payments of $275 and an offsetting amount ($62)--essentially a refund given the registrant--to bring his balance to zero.

I have received the following blue screen errors the past few days
I had been using Panda free antivirus but it blocked my internet connection so I switched to avast free. Is it possible that is the reason I have been getting the blue screens? If so how do I know if this caused the blue screens? I did a scan with avast and it did not find any viruses or malware. Malwarebytes scan found no detected objects.
If that is not the reason what else is the cause of the issue? If it is a driver issue how do I check? Is it safe to replace a driver if needed?
According to drive booster these are the current drivers needing updates.
If any of the above is not the issue what is the issue and how do I resolve the issue?

I was curious if it is possible to change the pH of water in the presence of an electric field. Specifically if a submerged well pump with an AC motor is improperly wired and there there is a circuit to the iron well casing then is it possible that the pH could be lowered? I have recently replaced a pump. The original pump had exposed wiring and the water was acidic. This caused corrosion of the copper pipes and associated blue-green staining. Having recently replaced the pump and properly wired it, the staining appears to be disappearing. This observation is the motivation for the question.

So, this all started about 2 years ago, and a lot has happened, so please bear with me.
Before I get into the main topic, let me give you a bit of a backstory. I was born to 2 teen parents, both being 17 at the time. As you might expect, they didn't know what they were doing, and after 2 years put me into an orphanage. I'm not sure why, but I never left that orphanage. I mean, I was a decent looking kid, and the care takers taught us about respect starting at an early age, so I was very well behaved. Bad luck I guess.
When I turned 15, I started working 2 part time jobs, wanting to buy an apartment when I was 16. That goal came true, and after saying goodbye to this place I used to call home, I left the orphanage.
For the next 5 years, my life was fairly normal. I continued to work as much as I can, saving most of my money, all while finishing up high school. After high school, I enrolled in college, but after the first semester I dropped out, realizing that college life was not for me.
However, my life was changed forever when I got a call one evening while I was watching a movie. A woman on the phone asked me if my name was Isaac Carter, to which I replied yes. Now, as I found out, 3 years after my parents put me in the orphanage, they had another kid. A beautiful girl named Samantha.
Having learned a lot from last time, when they had her, they knew what to do. They raised her until shortly after she turned 16, when both met their death from a head on collision from a drunk driver in a semi, killing them both. Without a home, child services tried to locate members of her family who would take her in. However, her only relatives were her grandparents on her fathers side, both of which were in a elderly folks home. So when they found out that I was her only living adult relative, they contacted me before sending her off to an orphanage.
Now, hearing what had happened, I could not have just said no. I had an apartment with plenty of room, enough money to support us both, plenty experience of taking care of kids (Babysitting/Helping out at the orphanage) and honestly no reason to decline. A few days later, some people from child services came by to check out my apartment and make sure that I could support her.
From the first moment I saw her, I thought she was the most beautiful girl in the entire world. She had waist length blonde hair, was quite skinny, stood at around 5'2", and had these amazing blue eyes, a feature we had both gotten from out mother. However, when she first saw me, she was more than a little nervous. In contrast to her slim, petite frame, I was a much larger guy. Standing at around 6'3", I was muscular, had messy jet black hair that extended just past my shoulders, and as said before, piercing blue eyes.
After meeting up at the child care building she was staying a few times a week for 3 weeks, we got to know each other, and she decided that she wanted to come live with me. From the initial call until the day I took her to her new home, it took about a month, and she was happy to live with her "Lost lost big brother" as she nicknamed me. The first few weeks were tough, she didn't want to be in school, which I totally understood given the circumstances, and she rarely talked, spending most of her time in her room.
As the days went by, we eventually got closer to each other, and basically became each others best friends by the end of the second month. By the end of the first year, we were nearly inseparable. Living with my sister also revealed a new emotion to me.
Love.
In all my years of life until she came to me, I had never loved, nor felt the love of another human being. I was a loner throughout my school career, not dating very much and mostly keeping to myself, as no one wanted to hand out with the kid who lived in an orphanage for 14 years, or the guy who has lived on his own since he turned 16. The closest thing I had ever felt that was close to love was the pity compassion from the caretakers at the orphanage.
This new feeling overwhelmed me, and I became infatuated by her. I would never yell or get angry at her, and would constantly be buying her little gifts every now and then. She was everything to me, and I never wanted to leave her side. After the first few months of her living here, I began to love her more than just a sister, although I tried my best to keep it from you.
Because of being exposed to this new feeling, my loner exterior was quickly shed, and I become an entirely different person. Within 4 months of her living with me, I had met 7 of my closest friends. Something that hadn't changed however, was my dating life. I continued to stay away from dating, this time because I didn't want to be out all the time and leave her all on her own.
Everything changed between us however, when I came home one night from a party with friends one night more than a little drunk, arriving home in nothing but a pair of jeans. And found her sleeping on the couch in nothing but her bra and panties. When I found her I decided to carry her to her bed, as the couch wasn't very comfortable. When I put her down, I stared at her for a while, admiring how beautiful she was while she slept.
Now I was not in a decent frame of mind during this time because of how drunk I was, and I just started making all the wrong decisions. I usually don't go out and party with friends, let alone get drunk, because my mind completely uncensors itself when I'm drunk and I don't like her to see me like that. Tonight however, I had more then my usual amount to drink, and wasn't capable of making decent decisions.
After admiring her for a while, I decided against better judgement that I should climb into bed with her, so that's exactly what I did. I got in behind her and wrapped my arms around her, quickly falling asleep. As you might expect it, I was awoken very early the next morning by the panicked yelp of my sister, more than alarmed as to why I was in bed with her. I try to make something up, but after a few feeble attempts, I just came clean about my feelings for her.
She went silent for a moment, then looked up at me, asking me if that what I was saying was the truth, to which I replied yes. Much to my surprise, she walked up to me and hugged me, her eyes filling with tears. As fate would have it, it turned out that over the past few months she had begun feeling the same way, but was too shy to say anything.
Relieved, we both decided to get back into bed, as it was quite early. However, we both found that sleep wasn't an option, as we were both so full of emotion. We laid there in bed for a while, slowly caressing one another. Eventually, caressing turning into kissing, and in the end we both lost our virginity to one another in a blaze of passion.
We have never looked back since then, and our relationship has only grown stronger. We have had to hide our love for each other from our friends for the past year, but we couldn't be happier, we love each other more than anything in the world. In fact, just recently we have found out that she has fallen pregnant, but unlike what our parents did to me, we will be keeping this one and raising it together.
So I know most of you probably think this is fake, and you have good reason too, after all this kind of stuff doesn't usually happen in your average day to day life now does it.

I want to be a foster child
Well it's kind of stupid actually. I'm just fine, kind of. Yeah there have been A BUNCH of days where me and my family don't get along, and they replaced me with two other foster kids. There are days that left scars and bruises but nothing so serious to call CPS or tell a counselor or anything. Nothing serious. Everything is fine. But my parents have some things I just can't deal with. First of all, in a grown teenager, and my parents still won't get me a phone. I have no friends to text! Who will I be calling? Second of all, I know everyone thinks that our sub genre has been extinct, but I am into some of the 'darker' forms of life. But I don't completely submerge myself in death comics and sinister things. Whenever I pick out clothing, I always ask for something black and my mother says 'stop trying to be gothic'. But I'm not. Being in love with fashion like I am, I know, black goes with everything. I'm not going to go up in school with khaki pants or green pants that don't go with anything. My mom always thinks in into sinister and gothic things when I'm just being myself. I don't like being categorized into sub genres. Anyway, I want parents who don't put me down all the time. My mom calls me fat all the time, compares me to other people, and calls me stupid. She yells non stop about how much she wants me tone the perfect kid. Whell, news flash, no ones perfect. My dad always finds the solution to things by yelling and hitting and he's always sticking up for the other kids in the house. I was a good kid once upon a time. Until I was replaced and now I'm the middle child. I want to be in a family that has no other kids, just a mom, and someone who lets me be like every other normal kid. I've wanted to be in dance for forever, but my mom says I'm too fat and I can't amount to something like that. I want a single mother who will let me start hobbies, get an iPod, let me shop at Hot Topic if I wanted to and not criticize me for who I am. I know I've left out a bunch because my mind is a sponge right now, but I really want to have that perfect foster mother. Will the police take me just because I want a new parent? Will they let me say what I want my family to be like? I want to know those things. And another thing that has nothing to do with the question. Why couldn't I have had Ronnie Radke as my father? I know it may seem like a stretch but what would the likelihood of me being pregnant if there was no penetration and my boyfriend came on the pelvic area? There was a lot of and it could have gotten anywhere but I'm certain that there was none in the vaginal area, however I did shower right after and washed "down there" and there could be a possibility I could have gotten some in there. I'm also on birth control but I missed a day a few days prior. Also, it was my anticipated day of ovulation. My stomach's been hurting ever since and I've been constipated and nauseous. 80's Jack O'Lantern Horror Movie
Looking for a movie title I saw back in '85. It was about a single or multiple Jack O'Lanterns that hypnotize it's host into wearing it over their head. Once they wear it, the host dies and insects and reptiles exit out of the eyes, nose and mouth. One scene a beautiful lady is in front of a mirror putting on makeup when one of these snakes sneaks under the door, and enters her body via her foot. She very rabidly starts to age, then her head explodes, the camera zoom's into the stump of her neck when a large snake jumps towards the camera. I saw this when I was 8 and it terrified me half to death, and I have loved horror movies ever since. Does anyone remember the name of this movie?

Sputtering Car
I have a 1999 Saturn SL2, and I have been doing a lot to it because I want this to be the last car I own (ha ha) Recently it is sputtering, and threatening to stall whenever I give it gas. It drives fine once I get going on the highway, but the second I give it gas, it begins sputtering and acting up. I have replaced the fuel filter about 3 days ago, It has a brand new MAP sensor, I replaced the plugs and wires, and did a fuel injection system cleaning on it. I has an entirely new exhaust system, including new converter. I haven't gotten around to scanning for codes yet though.

Symmons Temptrol diverter has no flow on shower setting
I have a Symmons Temptrol model A if the online pictures are correct. (Tricorner handle and diverter lever below it.)
I get full flow to the tub with the diverter to the left. When I move it to the right for shower, it is a gamble whether I will get any flow from the shower at all. I often have to go back to full tub several times before I hit the 'sweet spot' to get flow from the shower and once set, the flow can stop without any additional contact. (Usually when I have soap on my face.) If I move the diverter all the way right, there will be no flow at all. When I do get flow, it seems to be quite a bit less than what comes out of the tub faucet.
There are no leaks. I have a Moen shower sprayer on flexible hose for a shower head.

Laundry supertub... Washing Machine Supply won't flow?
Hi there, I recently unhooked my washing machine to replace the floor in the laundry. I have a Robinhood Supertub. I turned off the taps to the washing machine supply and unscrewed the hoses. Everything was working fine when I did this. Now I am trying to reconnect it, the water supply to the washing machine now doesn't want to flow. The tap/mixer for the tub itself works fine, both hot and cold, but nothing comes out of the washing machine hoses?? Is there some sort of safety valve in the tap that has been triggered. An air lock?? It seems like it could be something really basic that Im not doing. (Something maybe worth noting, is that the washing machine taps only turn about a half turn either way, whereas the tub taps unscrew quite a few times to give more flow... a special tap Im not sure about.. ) Does anyone have any ideas about this. I haven't been able to find an answer on Google. Help would be much appreciated!

I was Taking Kadian 200 mg 2x day (morphine sulfate), 5 mg Oxycodone 3x day & 4mg Zanaflex 3x day. Plus heart meds, blood pressure, acid reflux & blood thinners. I've been on the depo shot for a year and a half and I'm 17. I've been doing research about the shot causing infertility. I don't want to get pregnant anytime soon but the thought of kids in the future crosses my mind. I just am wondering how long is too long to be on the depo shot? My outdoor water spigot is leaking because the stem screw is stripped. I bought a donor spigot to use for parts. Right now my issue is the packing nut is just a hair to large to fit on my current housing. I have not been able to remove the handle screw on my old one to see if I can switch just the stem screw and reuse the old packing nut. Can I get a different packing nut? I am facing a dilemma. My best friend started dating a girl about nine months ago (we will call her Kate). Only thing is, I had asked her out two months before and had gotten friend-zoned. Now I understand that she may have not liked me and then grew feelings for my friend (we will call him Cade). So Cade and Kate start dating. I am friends with both of them so throughout the next eight months, I am the third wheel everywhere we go. People even started calling us the Dynamic Duo +1. After eight months, Cade decides to break it off, spewing reason after reason. It's pretty obvious he is lying and no one knows the real reason he broke up with Kate. Regardless, he ends it and Kate is heartbroken. They both come to me in the aftermath and I become a sort of buffer between and for the both of them.
This is where we get into my dilemma. I have maintained my attraction for Kate since the beginning. I have had a crush on her for over a year and a half and now he is single again. My heart tells me go for it but my brain is telling me don't. It says that if I were to go for it, I would be breaking "bro code" which means I would be dating my best friends ex. I know that it is not socially acceptable to do that but I cannot help my feelings.
So yesterday, I told her how I feel. She was not surprised and even seemed to be happy about it. She said that she had feelings for me as well but didn't know to what extent. We both then agree to a single date for this upcoming Wednesday. Dinner and a movie. This is to see to what extent she likes me.
The day passes and today, Kate tells me that, while she doesn't want to cancel the date, she has decide that the date will be the end of it, as she still has feelings for Cade. Cade ha moved on but seemed distantly upset when she told him that we were going on a date. I then told Kate that in the interest of not complicating our friendship, I didn't think we should go on the date. She welcomed this decision and that is how the conversation ended.
My dilemma:
I cannot get Kate out of my mind.
She seemed to be open to a date and possibly more.
She still has feelings for Cade.
I don't want to lost my best friend over Kate.
I want to be in a relationship with her.

QUESTION: Since the indirect hot water heater is now connected to the TT terminals on the boiler aquastat, can I leave heating zone 1 as is, also connected to the TT terminals (along with its circulator connected to terminals C1 & C2), or should I totally disconnect heating zone 1 from its direct connection to the boiler aquastat and hook it up with its own separate Honeywell R845A, the same as heating zones 2 and 3 ? Thanks in advance for your advice!
- I have an oil-fired burner with a Honeywell L7224A aquastat, a hydronic heating system with 3 zones (separate circulators and thermostats for each zone) and a coil for the hot water. The coil is shot. (The bolts are too rusted to remove and replace it.)
- I disconnected the coil and added a 45 gallon indirect water heater with its own aquastat and circulator. The water heater aquastat has low voltage "thermostat" wires going to the TT terminals on the boiler aquastat. (The water heater aquastat also has low voltage "thermostat" wires going to a separate Honeywell R8845U relay for the water heater circulator.)
- Originally, heating zone 1 was hooked up directly to the boiler aquastat. The thermostat wires went to the TT terminals on the boiler aquastat and the circulator wires went to C1 & C2 terminals on the boiler aquastat.
- Heating zones 2 & 3 are hooked up (thermostats and circulators) to separate Honeywell R845A relays that connect with the boiler aquastat.

Drip sound behind stone fireplace wall
I hear a drip behind our stone fireplace wall. We went to the attic and see nothing. But cannot see in front of the fireplace because of the slope. Of the roof. No water stains or. Puddl s but sometimes I hear. What sounds like wet dry wall falling behind the wall. a. roofer has looked and found no loose shingles or holes. Twelve year old roof. There is a dent in the cover over the chimney. Ran water from a hose and it seems to be around the chimney and when water comes off the chimney cover and hits the flashing. Four people have looked and say to ignore it. I'm afraid of. More damage later. Would it be better to replace the chimney cover first before the $1000 flashing replacement or just ignore it. Also heard the drip the other morning when we had a lot of dew but. No rain. Trying to sell and in Ohio.

Ok so 2 weeks ago I had unprotected sex, a few days later I noticed I had UTI symptoms - I am prone to getting UTI's after sex, So a week later I got antibiotics. These did not clear up the symptoms. My urinalysis came back negative for infection. The Dr then prescribed me more antibiotics, but these are not working either. Has anyone any idea what else it could be?
